探讨圣经中的领导力就必然关注梅瑟/摩西,这位带领以色列由奴役走向自由的领导者。梅瑟从起初就正直有担当力,且愿意谋求以色列民族共同的福祉,但他先要面对同胞的排斥与拒绝,在旷野的隐居生活中直面自己内心深处的挣扎、纠结与渴望,才领受上主的召叫。梅瑟能够领受使命是因为他依然保有好奇心,内心越来越敏锐。梅瑟把以色列的民族使命转化为法规,并在以色列陷入偶像崇拜的危机时坚持自己的中介身份。梅瑟无私勇敢,能够站在上主面前,做上主忠实的反对者,藉此挖掘上主更深层的慈悲,展示上主更真实的面容。梅瑟最终甘愿与犯罪的以色列人民站在一起,共同承担金牛事件的后果,他也因此成为一位有效力的天人间的沟通者,一位伟大的领导者。

Exploring the topic of leadership in the Bible has to pay enough attention to Moses who led Israel from oppression to freedom.Moses is a just and responsible person from the very beginning,but he has to face his fellow Israelites’exclusion and rejection,spent a long time in the desert,to allow his inner confusion,struggle and desire to emerge,before he is called by God.Moses is called because he kept his curiosity,his heart turned to be softer and more alert.Moses then transformed the mission of Israel into regulations and insisted that he is only an inter-mediator while Israel fell into idol worship.Moses is selfless and courageous,he stand before God as an"loyal opposition"in order to explore God’s inner mercy and forgiveness,to show the true face of God to shine.Moses finally is willing to stand togetherwith the sinful Israelites,to carry with them the consequences of the golden calf.By doing so,Moses became an effective communicator between God the Israelites,a great leader.
