This paper introduced a safety appraisal case of a high-rise residential project before partial reconstruction.According to the scope of reconstruction and the use status of the building,the overall scheme of the safety appraisal of this project was determined.Carried on detailed investigation,structural entity detection,structural bearing capacity verification and overall seismic index verification of the building,and obtained the safety appraisal results.Finally,the corresponding reinforcement suggestions were put forward.The identification of similar projects should focus on the determination of the overall scheme of identification and the grasp of the scope and level of identification.
