Analysis of Metro Signage Design Based on Affordance

从设计可供性角度分析地铁环境中的导识设计,探讨可供性在地铁导识设计中所发挥的积极作用。陈述可供性的概念源起、内涵要义及其对设计的启示,概括可供性在行为可能、预设用途与线索、无意识行为3个方面的设计特征,基于此对国内外地铁环境中已有的导识设计案例进行解析,阐述可供性思想在实际案例中的应用情况及其方式。研究发现可供性能够提升导识设计在复杂地铁环境中的适用性与易用性。同时,结合可供性的设计特征与实际案例分析,提出地铁导识设计的可供性设计,可从环境依托、意符辅助、乘客行为3个方面着手,充分发挥其引导与暗示功能,从而实现地铁导识设计的信息传递作用。

This paper analyzes guide design in subway environment from the perspective of affordance design,aiming to explore how the affordance can play a positive role in guide design.Based on the analysis of the concept origin,connotation and significance of affordance and Its Inspiration to design,this paper summarizes the design characteristics of affordance in three aspects,behavior possibility,pre-set purpose and clue,and unconscious behavior.Based on this,it analyzes and studies the existing guiding design cases in the domestic and foreign subway environment,and obtains and summarizes the application of affordance in the actual cases Way.Affordance can greatly improve the applicability and ease of use of guide design in complex metro environment.At the same time,combined with the design features of the affordance and the actual case analysis,it is proposed that the availability design of Metro Guide design should be considered from three aspects,environmental support,meaning and symbol assistance,and passenger behavior,so as to give full play to its guiding and suggestive functions,so as to realize the information transmission function of Metro Guide Design.
