Photodynamic therapy utilizes specific wavelengths of light to activate photosensitizers,making it a highly selective treatment method that has gained significant attention in recent years.Existing studies indicate its immense potential in dissolving atherosclerotic plaques and reducing complications related to arterial diseases.Researchers have made progress in the development of photosensitizers and exploration of treatment mechanisms.However,more research support is still needed to establish the long-term efficacy and safety of this technique.To promote the application of this technology,it is essential to delve deeper into the treatment mechanisms,continuously refine treatment protocols,and provide reliable theoretical and practical foundations.Through sustained research efforts,offering patients safer and more efficient treatment options,photodynamic therapy can contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the field of medicine.
