摘要
美国州立大学与学院协会(AASCU)是美国国际教育交流的引领者,会员有350所美国学院、大学及其大学系统,在校生有300多万人,毕业生从事的职业有教师、护士、艺术家、科学家和企业家等。AASCU致力于为各种背景的学生提供可负担的、高质量的大学教育。我们的大学通过开展创新性研究、推动艺术创造力和社区发展,来促进美国经济发展和文化繁荣。结合第24届中国国际教育年会的主题“突破·联通:共聚教育的力量”,我想分享两个学生的故事,他们因为通过在另一个国家接受高等教育而改变了一生。
American Association of State Colleges and Universities(AASCU)is a leader in the United States in the area of international educational exchange.AASCU is the voice of 350 colleges,universities and university systems in the United States that collectively enroll more than 3 million college students.Our organization is committed to providing an affordable and high quality college education to students of all backgrounds.Our universities graduate teachers and nurses and artists and scientists and entrepreneurs.Our universities also produce groundbreaking research,artistic creativity and community prosperity that drives the American economy and American culture.
