Patriotic Practice of Hui Minority People in Changzhi During the Anti-Japanese War Period

抗战时期的长治回族饱受日军的摧残,长治回族率众奋起反抗,在中国共产党的带领下,他们进行了多种形式的爱国实践。加入山西牺牲救国同盟会、参加抗敌决死队、成立长治回民抗日救国会、组建长治回民抗日义勇队并实战、慷慨捐献财物等,这些爱国主义行为推动了抗日民族统一战线在地方上的落实,促进了晋东南抗日根据地建设,同时在中华民族共同体意识的逐步形成过程中起到了一定的促进作用,为争取抗战胜利作出了应有的贡献。

During the Anti-Japanese War,the Changzhi Hui people suffered the destruction of the Japanese army,so they led the people to rise up and resist.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,they carried out various forms of patriotic practice.They joined the Shanxi Alliance for National Salvation,participated in anti-Japanese Dare-to-Die Corps,set up the Changzhi Hui anti-Japanese Salvation Association,set up the Changzhi Hui anti-Japanese Volunteer brigade and put it into actual combat,and donated money and property generously.These patriotic acts promoted the implementation of the anti-Japanese nation⁃al united front in local areas,promoted the construction of anti-Japanese base areas in southeast Shanxi,played a certain role in the gradual formation of the consciousness of community of the Chinese nation,and made due contributions to the victory of the An⁃ti-Japanese War.
