On Xi Zhongxun’s Idea on the Division of Three Types of Regions in the Border Areas of Shanxi, Gansu and Ningxia

20世纪上半叶,习仲勋在领导西北地区土地改革的过程中,创造性地提出、实践并发展了三类地区划分思想,极大地丰富和发展了党的土地改革理论,是中国共产党人的宝贵精神财富,是马克思主义中国化的重要成果。三类地区划分思想作为土改的指导思想被推广到全国,推动了各地的土改工作,促进了西北地区经济文化的发展,为各项社会改革奠定了坚实的基础,对全国土地革命工作及新中国的土改政策都产生了深远的影响,为新民主主义革命的胜利做出了巨大贡献。

In the first half of the 20th century,Xi Zhongxun lived,fought,and worked in the northwest region for a long time.In the process of leading the land reform,he creatively proposed,practiced,and developed the idea of dividing three types of regions,which greatly enriched and developed the Party’s land reform theory.It is the precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese Communists and an important achievement of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context.After being introduced to the whole country as the guiding ideology of land reform,his idea has promoted the land reform work,the economic and cultural development in the northwest region,laid a solid foundation for various social reforms,deeply influenced the national land revolution work and the new China’s land reform policy,and has made tremendous contribution to the victory of the new democratic revolution.
