中国领导人对外演讲译文评价的话语之维

The Discursive Dimensions of the Evaluation of the Translation of Chinese Leaders’Speeches to an International Audience

作为连接翻译理论与翻译实践纽带的翻译批评近年来虽然受到的关注颇多,但是也暴露出一定的发展动力不足问题。本文希望从批评话语分析的视角,结合中国领导人对外演讲的翻译实践,提出一些对于整个翻译批评领域有启发性的观点。站在批评话语分析的视角来看,对译文进行评价时不应简单地将译文视为静态的文本,判断译文和原文的对等或者不对等,而是要将其视为社会实践的一部分,充分评估译文的价值影响。在将译文话语视为社会实践或者信任机制时应充分考量多重因素,如此才有可能使译文话语获取充分的信任,产生最大的价值。

As a link between translation theory and practice,translation criticism has received a lot of attention in recent years,but it also reveals a certain lack of development momentum.From the perspective of critical discourse analysis and the translation practice of Chinese leaders’speeches to an international audience,this paper hopes to put forward some ideas that are hopefully enlightening for the whole field of translation criticism.From the perspective of critical discourse analysis,the evaluation of translations should not simply regard them as static texts,judging the equivalence or inequivalence between the translations and the original texts,but should consider them as part of social practice in order to fully assess the value impact of the translations.When considering translated discourse as a social practice or a trust mechanism,multiple factors should be fully considered in order to make it possible for translated discourse to gain full trust and generate maximum value.
