摘要
运用批评话语分析有关话语建构的论述,观察某高校硕士研究生毕业论文答辩中答辩者身份的动态特征。通过分析答辩委员会成员的提问,发现答辩者被答辩委员会成员视作具有研究者和学生两种身份,当答辩者以研究者身份参与到论文答辩的话语实践中时,答辩者的某些个人特质随着话语互动的进行得到凸显,并观察到答辩者研究者身份与学生身份趋同。对这一发现进行讨论,本文揭示出身份建构并非一个静态的过程,而是呈现出多元动态性特征。
Drawing on related theories of discourse construction in Critical Discourse Analysis,this paper observes the dynamics of the respondents’identities in thesis defense in a university.By analyzing the questions from the committee members,it is found that the identities of respondents are constructed as both researcher and student.When the respondents participate in the discourse practice of the thesis defense as a researcher,some personal traits of the respondents are highlighted as the interaction unfolds.And the researcher identity of the respondents is observed to converge with the student identity.Discussing these findings,this paper attempts to reveal some features of identities thus constructed,which are more multiple and changing than static and set.
