《談徵》是清代俗語辭書中較好的一種。但此書作者未署本名,此前學者考證是著名書家、學者伊秉綬。經綜合考證此書序跋、正文中透露的信息,並查閲相關史料,可以確知作者非伊秉綬,而是與之同時的河南偃師學者段長基。

Tan Zheng(《談徵》)is one of the better proverbial dictionaries of the Qing Dynasty.However,the author of this book did not sign his name.Previously,scholars believed that the author was Yi Bingshou,a famous calligrapher and scholar.After comprehensive examination of the book's preface,the information revealed in the text,and check the relevant historical materials,we can be sure that the author is not Yi Bingshou,but a contemporary scholar,Duan Changji.
