The Explanation of Five Folk Characters from Guangxi Za Zi(雜字)

雜字是中國古代老百姓使用的蒙學讀物,具有較高的文獻和語言文字價值。清至民國嶺南地區存有大量的雜字讀本,廣西雜字作爲其重要組成部分,保存了豐富的民間俗字,是研究近代漢字的寶貴資料。本文綜合運用文字學、訓詁學、方言學等知識,考釋了“■”“■”“■”“■”“㡻”等俗字,希望有助于雜字文獻的進一步整理研究,並發掘其對漢字漢語史的研究價值,同時亦可爲大型辭書的修訂提供參考。

Za Zi(雜字)was Chinese traditional enlightening textbooks for ordinary people,which have high value of language and literature.There were a large number of Za Zi(雜字)textbooks from the Qing dynasty to the Republic of China in Lingnan area,Guangxi Za Zi(雜字)as the important component of it,in which had abundant folk characters,and it is a precious material for study modern Chinese characters.By using the knowledge of philology,exegetics and dialects,this paper interprets folk characters from Guangxi Za Zi(雜字),such as“■”“■”“■”“■”“㡻”,which can contributed to further research on Za Zi(雜字)literature,and to explore its value of Chinese characters and linguistics,as well as to provide reference for large scale dictionary revision.
