摘要
禪籍中"塗糊"一詞已有不少學者關注,但仍无定論。本文在文獻用例和異文的基礎上,結合公案背景、禪宗思想等信息以及日本南北朝以來的各種《碧巖錄》注释资料,探求"塗糊"的含義,並運用詞義系統參證法進一步探尋該詞的理據。文章認爲,"塗糊"有"塗抹""模糊""蒙昧" "污染""污蔑""欺瞞"等意義。該詞由"塗抹"義的詞素"塗"和"糊"構成,是同義複詞。
Many scholars pay attention to the word"Tuhu"in Zen books,but no conclusion is drawn out.On the basis of literature cases and different texts,this paper explores the meaning of"Tuhu"and further explores the motivation of the word by using the semantic system reference,combining the information of Zen case background,Zen thoughts and other annotation of Biyan Lu since the Southern and Northern Dynasties in Japan.The article holds that"Tuhu"has the meanings of"smear","indistinct","foolish","pollution","smirch"and"dupe".The word is composed of morphemes"Tu"and"Hu"with the meaning of"Tu",which is a synonymous compound.
