從文獻與詞彙角度考辨《辯意長者子經》的譯出時代

Concerning the Date of the Translation of Sutra of the Questions of Pratibhāna From the Prospective of Philology and Lexicology

本文根據敦煌出土文獻和經文語言特徵考察舊題北魏法場所譯《辯意長者子經》,認爲這部經不可能是法場所譯,也非元魏譯經,其翻譯年代應爲兩晋時期。

The Chinese translation on Sutra of the Questions of Pratibhāna(辯意長者子經)is ascribed traditionally to Fa Chang(法場)from Northern Wei Dynasty.However,this article studied the Dunhuang manuscripts of the sutra,analyzed the vocabulary and style of the translation,clearly demonstrated that it could not be translated by Fa Chang and it dates in all probability form time early than the Northern Wei Dynasty,probably in Jin Dynasty.
