Preparation of benzothiazolium salts supported on cross-linked polystyrene and onthe copolymer of styrene with hydroxyethyl methacrylate are described and theMichael additions of aldehydes to α,β-unsaturated compounds catalyzed by thesebenzothiazolium salts on the polymers are reported hereof.
