With the development of China’s economy and society,the scale and number of various projects are gradually increasing.Surveying and mapping provides the basis for engineering construction.The application of advanced technology in surveying and mapping projects has improved the work efficiency.Taking geographic information system as the research object,this paper analyzes its application in surveying and mapping engineering,highlighting the superiority of the quality improvement of surveying and mapping results.
