略论中国边疆学的构筑

About Construction of Chinese Borderland Studies

中国边疆学的构筑涉及诸多问题,文章主要从三个重要方面展开论述。关于中国边疆的战略地位和中国边疆研究任务,中国边疆从历史角度看边疆地区是中国两大历史遗产联系的平台,从现实角度看边疆地区是保卫中国安全的第一线。中国边疆学主要有两大研究任务,一是要厘清中国疆域发展的历史和现状,在不同时期所处的地位及原因,中国边界形成发展的历史和现状,国境线形成、变迁的过程等问题。二是通过研究厘清中华人民共和国这个统一多民族国家形成和发展规律,以及多元一体的中华民族的形成发展规律;中国边疆学发展历程可以用千年积累、百年探索、三十年实践来概括;实现从中国边疆史地研究向中国边疆学研究的学术转型,加强边疆理论研究和推动边疆教育是眼下两大要务。

The construction of China's borderland studies involves a lot of problems,which are expounded in three major aspects.As regard the strategic status of Chinese borderland and task of borderland research,China,from the perspective of history,judges borderland as the platform for the connection of two major historical heritages;from the perspective of reality,borderland as the fore front of national defence.China’s borderland studies undertake two major research tasks:to make clear the history and current situation of its borderland development;its position and reason during different periods and history and current situation of development in borderland;formation of border line and its change;to make clear through research the formation and development law of the people's republic of China—a unified multiple-national country under one system with diversity;China's borderland studies in development course can be summed up from deposit for ages,exploration for a century and three-decade practice;transformation made from research in China’s borderland history and geography to borderland studies to intensify theoretic research and promote borderland education.
