In the process of the sinicization of Marxist political economy, the theory of economic system that fits China’s actual development has been gradually developed. The difference in economic development between Fujian and Taiwan in the past 40 years is the dialogue and competition between the Marxist economic system and Western neoliberal theories. From the perspective of production,Taiwan’s industries under the domination of neoliberalism have a tendency to move away from reality, while Fujian continues to follow the path of industrial upgrading. From the perspectives of consumption and distribution, the large gap between the rich and the poor is unable to overcome in Taiwan. The lack of the third distribution shows that the common prosperity can only be realized in a Marxist market economy.Excessive political socialization has also leaded to the comparative disadvantage of Taiwan being at a in terms of production factor cooperation and innovative practices.Fujian and Taiwan can effectively achieve common prosperity by expanding and improving the trade system, improving the distribution mechanism, and participating in international trade through cooperation, which is an important part of the cross-strait reunification process.By comparing the economic development of Fujian and Taiwan,we can see that firmly following the road to Sinicization of Marxism is the inevitable path to build a well-off society in an all-round way and achieve common prosperity.
