Retrospect on Centennial Anniversary——Research review of comments on the May 4th Movement

2019年是"五四运动"100周年,回眸百年历史,具有彻底反帝反封建性质的"五四运动"对近现代中国发展产生了重大影响,它不仅拉开了中国新民主主义革命与中国思想现代化进程的大幕,还直接影响了中国共产党的诞生和发展。特别是其中所蕴含的"爱国、民主、科学、进步"的时代价值观,更是实现了代际传承。可以说,"五四运动"的贡献意义是历史性、划时代的。站在"五四运动"百年的重要关头,理论界从多角度、多层面重温运动历史,取得了大量理论成果。本文主要从运动的时代背景、历史性贡献及精神传承入手,对相关理论研究进行梳理分析,以期通过历史记忆挖掘其现实启示,为新时代深化"五四精神"提供一定理论参考。

2019 is the centennial anniversary of the May 4 th Movement. When looking back the history, we find that the Movement of anti-imperialist and anti-feudal has great impact on the development of modern China. It not only begins the Chinese New-democratic Revolution and modernization of thought but also directly influences the birth and growth of Chinese Communist Party. Its values of patriotism, democracy, science and progress have an intergenerational transition, so the contribution of the Movement is historic and epoch-making. During the centennial anniversary of the Movement, its history has been reviewed from multi-dimension and achieved abundant theory findings. The paper begins with the historical background, historic contribution and spiritual inheritance and then analyzes related theories in order to offer theoretical references for deepening the spirit of the Movement in the new era through historical memory to get realistic enlightenment.
