Main Characteristics and Variability of Female Writers’ Research in the New Period of China in the English World

自20世纪80年代初以来,英语世界研究者对中国新时期女作家及其作品进行了广泛的研究,取得了许多重要成果。由于文化背景的作用,英语世界中国新时期女作家研究具有诸多不同于中国本土研究的重要特征;由于文化过滤与文学误读等因素的存在,英语世界中国新时期女作家研究具有明显的变异性特征。英语世界中国新时期女作家研究的主要特征与变异性既是跨文明文学交流的必然结果,也对推进中国本土新时期女作家研究具有某些重要借鉴意义。

Since the early 1980 s,researchers in the English world have conducted extensive research on Chinese women writers and their works in the new period and many research results have been achieved.Due to the role of cultural background,the research on Chinese female writers in the new period in the English world has many important features differing from those of China’s indigenous research.It is obvious that the research on Chinese female writers of the new period in the English world has variability characteristics due to the influence of cultural filtering and literary misreading.The main characteristics and variability of the study of Chinese women writers in the new period in the English world are not only the inevitable results of literature communication cross civilization,but also provide reference significance for Chinese natives to promote the study on women writers in the new period.
