From Imitation to Creation--Appreciation of He Shaoji’s Calligraphies in the Collection of Hunan Museum

何绍基是清代著名书法家,在家学的影响下,广读经文、勤习书法,篆隶行楷诸体均有成就。本文主要以何绍基隶书为案例,浅析其隶书来源和特点,展示其隶书风格与气质。通过临摹与创作两条线索,探析何绍基隶书的临创历程,从而引发人们对书法临创的思考。

He Shaoji is a celebrated calligrapher of the Qing dynasty.Under the influence of the knowledge transmitted from generation to generation in his family,he read classics extensively and diligently practiced calligraphy,with the result that he excelled in all genres of calligraphy.This paper,through the study of He Shaoji’s clerical script,analyzes the origin and features of his clerical script,and demonstrates the style and disposition of his clerical script.Through the two clues of imitation and creation,it explores the imitation and creation process of He Shaoji’s clerical script so as to make people reflect on the imitation and creation of calligraphy.
