古图版式方向及相关诸问题(上)

The Format Orientation of Ancient Maps and Related Issues(Part Ⅰ)

以天水放马滩秦墓出土地图中的正立位亭形建筑标志(■)和倒置的"北方"二字相对、"故东谷"和"故西山"呼应及诸多与"上"和"下"有关的地名所处位置关系为突破口,以该书所载"式"图方位为佐证,提出该书地图版式方向与汉以前所见古图一致,皆属上南下北。此篇为上篇。

With the pavilion-shaped architectural structure mark(■),the upside-down two characters"the north",the place names such as"Old East Valley"and"Old West Mountain",and the locality of place names related to"up"and"down"on the ancient map unearthed from the Qin tomb at Fangmatan in Tianshui as a breakthrough,and with the"format"orientation recorded in the book as evidence,this paper suggests that the format orientation of the map in this book is the same as that of ancient maps before the Han dynasty,namely up south and down north.This is the first part of the paper.
