越南西行文献述论

Study on the Vietnam’s Westbound Documents

越南西行文献主要由使臣撰写,包括日记、笔记、诗歌等作品,从不同角度记录其行程和见闻,较为集中地反映了19世纪越南人眼中的西方世界。同一时期,中国也产生了一大批西行文献,其文本内容和编撰体例与越南西行文献都有诸多相似之处。这种联系根源于汉文化中奉使纪行的传统。在这一传统的影响下,不仅中国历代产生了诸多使行文献,还推动了域外燕行录的编撰。通过比较,可以发现中国与越南的使行文献在主旨、体例、内容等方面都联系紧密,文脉相通,这充分体现了汉文化背景下中越使行文献的共通性。

Mainly written by the envoys,the Vietnam’s Westbound Documents include diaries,notes,poems and so on,and record the envoys’journeys from different aspects,primarily reflecting the western world from the eyes of the Vietnamese in the 19^(th)Century.During the same period,China also produced a large number of westbound documents,sharing some similarities with those of Vietnam in its text content and compling style.This connection is originated from the tradition of delegated envoys in Han culture.Influenced by the tradition,a lot of diplomatic documents appeared in China during several dynasties.Also,it promoted the compilation of overseas Yanxing Records.Through comparison,it can be found that Chinese and Vietnamese envoys documents are closely related in main idea,style,content and other aspects,which fully embodies the commonality of Chinese and Vietnamese envoys documents under the background of Han culture.
