“六经皆礼”与以礼经世——张其淦及其《左传礼说》

“Six Classics belong to Li”and Rule the World by Li—Zhang Qigan and his Zuozhuan Lishuo

《左传》作为一部春秋时代的史书,对当时的礼多有记载,这也为历代学者所关注,但历史上并没有形成一部论《左传》之礼的专著。民国时期,岭南学者张其淦曾撰《左传礼说》一书,专门论述《左传》之礼,对《左传》中的礼义、礼制进行了详细的解说,考证精详,是《左传》学史上的一部重要著作。作为一位清遗民,张其淦坚持"六经皆礼"的观点,并将其贯穿于他的其他经解中,表现出明显的"以礼经世"及维护传统礼教的经世取向,在《左传》学史及近代经学史上有重要价值与意义。

As a historical commentary on Spring and Autumn Period,Tso Chuan recorded a lot on Li(rite),which has drawn attention of scholars of all dynasties.However,there has not been any work on Li in Tso Chuan.In the period of the Republic of China,Professor Zhang Qigan once wrote ZuoZhuanLiShuo(Li in Tso Chuan)that elaborated on the meaning and system of Li in Tso Chuan with precise textual research,which made it as an important work in the academic history of Tso Chuan study.As an adherent of the Qing Dynasty,Zhang Qigan held the view of“the Six Classics all belong to Li”and involved it into his other works,showing his distinguished point of“Rule the World by Li”and supporting the traditional rite,which has great significance in the academic history of Tso Chuan study and modern study of Confucian classics.
