英国精英大学实施学位学徒制的动因与策略——以华威大学为例

Motivations and Strategies for Implementing Degree Apprenticeships in Elite UK Universities

摘要 在与雇主合作并满足雇主需求、扩大高等教育参与、增加财政收入等因素驱动下,英国精英大学积极实施学位学徒制。如华威大学秉承服务区域经济发展并扩大大学入学机会的理念,联合雇主并利用学校优势设置多元项目,灵活开展培训以平衡在职学习与脱产培训,同时整合多项评价并提供学业支持以保障项目质量。学位学徒制是英国精英大学参与职业教育的重要抓手,增值赋能是英国精英大学实施学位学徒制的价值体现,系统设计是华威大学学位学徒制项目可持续推进的关键。 Drive by factors such as partnering with employers to meet their needs,broadening participation in higher education,and improving financial revenues,the elite universities in the UK are actively implementing degree apprenticeships.Taking Warwick University as an example,its objectives are to promote local economic development and provide access to higher education.It collaborates with employers and utilizes the university’s strengths to establish various programs,conducts training in an adaptable way to balance on-the-job learning and off-the-job training,and combines multiple evaluations with academic assistance to ensure project quality.It finds that the degree apprenticeship is a crucial tool for elite UK universities to engage in vocational education,their implementation in such institutions has a positive effect on empowerment and value-added,and the sustainability of the University of Warwick’s degree apprenticeship programs depends on its systematic design.
