中国高等教育现代化是中国共产党将马克思主义原理与中国实际相结合,紧密联系国情和党在各个时期的总任务进行的社会主义高等教育建设实践。高等教育现代化是国家现代化的重要组成部分,既具有中国式现代化的总体特色,又有自身的发展特征。高等教育现代化迈向新征程,要以服务新阶段党的中心任务为使命,紧密结合“两步走”战略部署,努力在深入实施科教兴国战略、实现高质量发展和推进治理现代化等方面取得新突破。

The Chinese modernization of higher education is the practice of socialist higher education construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC),which combines Marxist principles with the reality of China,and closely combines the national conditions and the general tasks of the Party in various periods.The modernization of higher education is an important part of national modernization,which has the overall characteristics of Chinese modernization and its own development characteristics.Towards a new journey,the modernization of higher education should take serving the Party’s central task in the new stage as its mission,closely combine with the two-step strategic plan,and strive to make new breakthroughs in implementing the strategy of invigorating China through science and education,achieving high-quality development and promoting governance modernization.
