考学衔接:英国A Level选考制度运行机制探析

普通教育证书高级水平考试(A Level)是英国高校入学申请最主要的学术参考标准,以科目选考为特色。A Level选考制度由考试机构、高校、中学协作实施,各司其职,缺一不可。A Level选考制度“上衔”高校选才,“下接”中学育人:以有条件的“自由选科”给予学生最大限度的选择权;以高校专业为选科导向,巩固学生的基础性知识;以多渠道选科指导建立全面的职业生涯规划体系,充分适应学生的身心发展规律。未来我国高考综合改革应致力于落实精细化使用选考科目、多维度完善选科指导等举措,以实现选考制度效益的最大化。

A Level is the main academic reference for admissions to higher education in the U.K.,which is characterized by subject choice.A Level runs with a number of parties,including examination institutions,higher education institutions(HEIs),and secondary schools.A Level bridges HEIs and secondary schools,for selecting senior students and guiding teaching;gives students the maximum right of“free choice”;consolidates students’fundamental knowledge;establishes the comprehensive career planning system through multi-channel guidance.In the future,the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination in China should be dedicated to refining the use of elective subjects and improving the guidance of subject choice in multiple dimensions.
