The Popularization of the Large-scale Higher Education:The Background,Challenges and Path Selection

党的十八大以来,我国进入中国特色社会主义新时代,进入高质量发展新阶段。我国高等教育普及化是具有强烈“外部目的性”的超大规模的高等教育普及化,面临着诸多方面的现实挑战:一是如何充分体现其“外部目的性”,二是普及化阶段的高等教育如何实现高质量发展,三是民间质量立场导致高等教育普及化动力不足,四是高等教育区域结构和城乡结构失衡,五是高中教育结构对普及化的制约性凸显,六是类市场化治理模式不利于高等教育普及化。必须立足我国高等教育普及化的特殊性和面临的现实挑战,走出一条中国式高等教育普及化道路。

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a new stage of high-quality development.The popularization of China higher education is a large-scale popularization of higher education with strong“external purpose”,facing practical challenges in many aspects.Firstly,how to fully manifest its“external purpose”,secondly,how to realize the high-quality development of higher education in the popularization stage,thirdly,the quality stance of the public leads to the lack of motivation for the popularization,fourthly,there’s the imbalance between the regional structure of higher education and the urban-rural structure,fifthly,the structure of high school education restricts the popularization,sixthly,the quasi-market-oriented governance mode is not conducive to the popularization.Based on the particularity of the popularization of China higher education and the realistic challenges,the path of China popularization would be formed.
