聚丙烯/氢氧化镁复合材料的制备及阻燃性能研究

摘要 以聚丙烯为基体树脂,硅烷偶联剂(KH550)和油酸钠为复合改性剂,对氢氧化镁进行表面改性,制备了聚丙烯/氢氧化镁复合材料。活化指数、水接触角和极限氧指数(LOI)测试结果表明:复合改性的氢氧化镁表面由亲水性变为疏水性,分散性明显提高,活化指数可达79%,水接触角达到125.5°;复合改性剂使氢氧化镁能够发挥更高效的阻燃作用,制备的复合材料LOI可达24.4%,具有更好的阻燃性能。 Polypropylene/magnesium hydroxide composites were prepared by surface modification of magnesium hydroxide Mg(OH)_(2) using polypropylene as matrix resin,sodium oleate and silane coupling agent(KH550)as composite modifiers.The activation index and water contact angle were tested and the result showed that the surface of Mg(OH)_(2) after modification was changed from hydrophilic to hydrophobic,the dispersibility was significantly improved compared with unmodified Mg(OH)_(2),the activation index could reach 79%,and the contact angle reached 125.5°.The composite modifier enabled Mg(OH)_(2)composites to exhibit more efficient flame retardancy,and the prepared composite material could possess a LOI of 24.4%,demonstrating superior flame retardant performance.
