Transparent nylon has drawn growing attention due to its outstanding light transmission,high thermal stability,good corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance.This paper introduced main transparent nylon manufacturers in the world and their products in the market,combining the structure and characteristics of different commercial transparent nylon,and summarized its applications in the fields of household products,precision optics,electronics devices,sports goods,healthcare and automotive industry.The development direction of transparent nylon was also discussed from the perspectives of emerging wearable chemistry and green chemistry.
