In this article,the significance of satellite navigation and positioning technology in marine applications is underscored.It delineates the substantial advantages of this technology in ocean monitoring and forecasting,effectively overcoming numerous constraints of conventional methods.This innovation fosters new avenues for marine observation.The research encompasses various monitoring elements pertinent to satellite applications in marine settings.The characteristics of prevalent satellite navigation systems is elaborated,the critical need for establishing indigenous satellite monitoring systems through comparative analysis is underscored,and the adaptability of satellite positioning technology within marine environments alongside corresponding strategies is evaluated.The framework of satellite ocean monitoring systems,comprising the establishment of base station networks and user station systems,coupled with intricate data processing workflows is specifically detailed.Additionally,the essential algorithms associated with satellite navigation and positioning technology is discussed,such as highlighting specific applications in water level regulation and marine environment assessment.This study aspires to offer significant insights for advancing China's marine sector,aiming to enhance the extensive application and sustainable development of satellite navigation and positioning technology within the marine domain while facilitating the industry's advancement.
