A Study of Difficulties and Effective Strategies in English-American Literature Translation from a Cross-cultural Perspective

本文基于跨文化视域,重点探究了英美文学翻译问题。首先总结了英美文学翻译的主要难点,并论述了翻译的基本原则。进而提出了尊重两国文化差异,促进文化交流;翻译人员应注重文化内容划分、重视人文宗教特色、积累有益经验等有效翻译策略,以期确保译本充分体现出原著的文学价值和魅力,帮助广大读者更好地了解英美文学作品,同时也希望可以推动中西方文化交流。

Based on the cross-cultural perspective,this paper focuses on the translation of English and American literature.First of all,it analyzes the practical difficulties faced by English and American literary translation,and summarizes the basic principles of translation.Then it puts forward some effective translation strategies,such as respecting cultural differences between the two countries,promoting cultural exchanges,paying attention to cultural content division,humanistic and religious characteristics.
