Political and Legal Thought in Pre-Qin Poetry and its Contemporary Significance

先秦诗歌所展现的敬德保民、明德慎罚、德法共治的德政思想,是周人对商朝亡国之失的总结,它开创了中国古代德法合治的先路。汉代德主刑辅理念沿袭了周初明德慎罚的策略,使德法共治走进了一个新的阶段。贞观年间沿袭了汉代的德法共治策略,使德法共治理论得到进一步完善。总之中国古代德法共治策略的实施及历史经验具有当代意义。

The poetry of the pre-Qin dynasty shows the ideas of virtue and law,such as respect for virtue and protection of the people,noble morality and cautious punishment,and the co-rule of virtue and law,which were the summation of the Zhou dynasty people’s loss of the Shang dynasty and pioneered the rule of virtue and law in ancient China.In the Han dynasty,the strategy of morality-guiding and punishment-supplementing followed the strategy of the early Zhou dynasty,which was based on noble morality and cautious punishment,bringing the co-rule of virtue and law to a new stage.During the Zhenguan Period,the strategy of co-rule by virtue and law of the Han dynasty was followed and further improved.The implementation and historical experience of the strategy of co-rule by virtue and law in ancient China is of contemporary significance.
