中国佛教文化研究所(The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China,英文缩写:RIBCC)成立于1987年,是中国佛教协会下属的佛教文化研究机构和开展国内外佛教文化交流活动的窗口。中国佛教文化研究所遵照中国佛教协会的基本宗旨,配合中国佛教界加强自身建设、发展佛教教育、提高四众弟子整体素质的方针,制定长期和短期的研究计划,联合教内外学者对佛教历史、理论和现状进行研究;加强与全国高等院校和宗教研究机构、各地佛教寺院和佛学院校、佛学研究机构的联系;加强与中国香港、澳门和台湾地区佛教组织、佛教教育研究机构和佛教学者之间的联系。

The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China(RIBCC)was established in 1987.It is a Buddhist cultural research institute under the Buddhist Association of China and a window for Buddhist cultural exchange and activities within and outside China.The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China makes long and short term research plans by complying with the principal tenet of the Buddhist Association of China and cooperation with Chinese Buddhists whose guiding principle is to consolidate self-construction,develop Buddhist education and enhance the quality of the fourfold Buddhists as a whole.
