当代中国翻译家译后随笔中的共识启示

The consensus on translation reflected in essays by noted contemporary Chinese translators

译后随笔是译者对翻译实践的感悟和总结,能展现其心理状态、时代和文化背景,是了解译者思想的一手材料。翻译随笔作为研究译者思想的重要抓手,以往研究大多停留在个案分析上,缺少系统分析与概括。近代以来各个阶段,尤以1949年至今的翻译紧扣近现代中国的发展情况。本文将1949年以来,分三个阶段搜集整理中国翻译家的译后随笔文章或相关出版物,分析各翻译家译后随笔中折射出的社会特性,乃至属于中国文人的独特思维方式。

Translators write down their reflection and experience in essays after translating activities,from which their mentalities as well as historical and cultural background would be revealed.These essays are the first-hand materials to study noted translators.Previous studies have touched upon translators’translation philosophies but systematic analyses are still lacking and more attention to translators’reflective essays is needed.In view of contemporary China,the period from the founding of People’s Republic of China in 1949 till now witnesses the relevance of translation to the development of the society.Thus,the paper will categorize the above period into three stages,sorting out corresponding essays and publications of noted Chinese translators and analyzing the consensus on translation reflected.Discovery of the consensus could uncover the value and nature of translators’philosophies,even the unique way of thinking among Chinese scholars.
