发表环境对中国学者论文英语摘要的语类特征影响研究

The effect of publication context on the genre characteristics of English article abstracts written by Chinese scholars

的语类研究成果颇丰,但是聚焦于发表环境对英语摘要的语类特征影响的研究成果稀少。本文以英语本族语学者发表在国际应用语言学期刊上的论文摘要为参照,考察中国学者发表在中国大陆的外语类期刊和国际应用语言学类期刊两种环境下的英语摘要的语类特征。结果发现:研究主题、研究方法和研究结果语步均为两种环境下的必选语步;而研究背景和研究结论语步的使用在两种环境下具有显著差异;语步的组合模式呈现多样化的特点。

Despite the abundant achievements on the genre analysis of research article abstracts, research focusing on the effect of publication context on the genre characteristics of English article abstracts is rare. Using English article abstracts published in international applied linguistics journals by native English scholars as reference, this paper examined the genre structures of English article abstracts written by Chinese scholars and published in international and Chinese applied linguistics journals. The results showed that the moves of introduction, method and result are the essential moves;The usage of the moves of background and conclusion by Chinese scholars displays significant difference across the two publication contexts. The patterns of moves appeared to be diversified.
