第一次鸦片战争后,东南沿海成为西方列强军事、经济、文化入侵的重灾区。西方列强在漳州兴建教堂、开办教会学校,输入西方意识形态,扩张殖民版图。本文考察漳州地区教会学校的兴起和发展,分析其教育理念、课程设置、教育手段等对当时漳州社会产生的破坏性作用和建设性意义。

After the first Opium War,the southeast coast became highly susceptible to military,economic and cultural invasion of the Western powers.The Western powers built churches and parochial schools in Zhangzhou,introducing western ideology and expanding their colonial territory.This paper examines the rise and development of parochial schools in Zhangzhou and analyzes both the destructive and constructive effects of their educational ideology,curriculum design and educational means in Zhangzhou at that time.
