Ningde City Wall and Moat Relics Described

城池,指城墙和护城河,是古代的军事防御建筑。宁德市现存有近20座元代至清代的城池遗址,其中有福鼎、福安、霞浦、柘荣、古田、屏南等城堡遗址。这些遗址绝大部分己被公布为省级或县级文物保护单位,个别未公布者均列为文物点予以保护。

City,refers to the walls and moat,is an ancient military defense building.There are nearly 20 existing city sites from Yuan Dynasty to Qing Dynasty,including Fuding,Fu’an,Xiapu,Zherong,Gutian,Pingnan and other castle sites.Most of these sites have been published as provincial or county-level cultural relics protection units,and some sites which have not been announced are listed as cultural relics sites for protection.
