摘要
铜镜是战汉以来十分流行的日常器物,既可照容观貌,又可避祸求福,或有长短不一的镜铭,是综合了青铜工艺、图像装饰、文学书法等多种艺术手法的美术品。孔子衣镜为西汉中期海昏侯刘贺所有,是一面大型立式的铜镜,带有漆木镜匣,它在镜形、镜绘、铭文和器物组合等方面都表现出了强烈的特殊性,可以称为一件独具时代特色的新式镜。对孔子衣镜的分析有助于了解西汉中期王侯贵族的生活方式和思想追求,总结出铜镜从战国进入西汉的新发展。
The bronze mirror has been a very popular daily item since the Warring States Period and the Han Dynasty.It can both reflect one's appearance and serve as a talisman for avoiding misfortune and seeking blessings.Some mirrors bear inscriptions of varying length,making them a combination of bronze craftsmanship,image decoration,literary calligraphy,and other artistic techniques.The Confucius Dressing Mirror,owned by Marquis Liu He of Haihun in the mid-Western Han Dynasty,is a large vertical bronze mirror with a lacquered wooden case.It shows strong uniqueness in terms of mirror sha pe,pictorial decoration,inscriptions,and the set of artifacts,and can be regarded as a new-style mirror distinctive in its era.Analyzing the Confucius Dressing Mirror is helpful in understanding the lifestyle and intelleetual pursuits of the aristocracy during the mid-Western Han Dynasty,and in summarizing the new development of bronze mirrors from the Warring States Period to the Western Han Dynasty.
