Application of Ctest in Embedded Software Testing

嵌入式系统通常有着严格的安全性及可靠性要求。而进行严格的单元测试能够为系统提供更稳定的模块,从而对整个系统的稳定性产生积极作用,嵌入式软件实际运行环境通常因为内存的限制及测试运行的不可视性,单元测试不易展开。通过实例说明C++test工具在嵌入式软件测试中的应用,应用结果表明C++test能快速完成单元测试环境的搭建、从被测试覆盖的代码中发现问题,在开发早期辅助提升代码质量。此测试技术已在企业云网关等嵌入式设备研发中广泛采用,并取得良好效果。

Embedded systems usually have strict security and reliability requirements.However,strict unit testing can provide more stable modules for the system,which has a positive effect on the stability of the whole system.The application of C++test tool in embedded software testing is illustrated by an example.The application results show that C++test can quickly complete the construction of unit test environment,find problems from the code covered by the test,and improve the code quality in the early development stage.This testing technology has been widely used in the research and development of Enterprise Cloud gateway and other embedded devices,and achieved good results.
