交叉融合 相生共赢——北京大学前沿交叉学科研究院建设模式探索 被引量:16

Interaction and Integration,Mutual Generation and Mutual Benefit:Taking the Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University as an Example

摘要 学科交叉已经成为科技创新的主要源泉,是当今科学时代不可替代的研究范式。推动交叉、培育交叉的战略思想贯穿了世界各国国家政策、基金制度、大学管理,乃至高等教育的各个层面。我国教育部、科技部和国家自然科学基金委员会等部门均对传统学科分类模式进行改革,大力推动学科交叉与融合。交叉研究机构是大学在科研和人才培养组织设置上促进和加强学科交叉最具特色且行之有效的制度安排。作为国内高校中率先开辟的跨学科研究试验基地,北京大学前沿交叉学科研究院从发展历程、组织特征、制度创新等多方面展示了其在体制机制改革中所起到的先行示范和开拓创新作用,并对北京大学的学科交叉及相关学科的科学研究和人才培养发挥了重要促进作用。 Interdisciplinary research has become a major source of scientific and technological innovation and an irreplaceable research paradigm in this scientific era.A strategy of encouraging and facilitating interdisciplinarity has been embodied in national policies,funding systems,university governance and all levels of higher education of all the countries in the world.Competent bodies in China like the Ministry of Education,Ministry of Science and Technology,National Natural Science Foundation are vigorously advocating interdisciplinary integration and collaboration by conducting reforms on the traditional categorizing modes of disciplines.Institutes of interdisciplinary studies are the most distinctive and effective institutional arrangement in higher education institutions for facilitating and strengthening interdisciplinarity in scientific research and talent cultivation.As the first pilot for interdisciplinary studies,the Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University has played pioneering and innovating roles in the reforms of systems and mechanisms displayed in aspects like development path,organizational features and institutional innovation,and exerted favorable effects on the scientific research and talents cultivation for inter-disciplines and relevant disciplines at Peking University.
