线上线下混合教学模式在大学英语听说教学中的应用研究——基于问卷星及Blackboard网络平台的实例分析 被引量:11

A Case Study on Blended Learning Applied to ELT Listening and Speaking Class for Non-English Major——Based on “Blackboard” and “Questionnaire Star”

摘要 本文借助Blackboard在线网络教学管理平台及在线测评平台"问卷星",结合当前教学现状,提出了体现课程特色的线上线下混合式教学及学习模式。本文提出通过线下网络自主学习与线上多媒体课堂面授有机结合,为学生提供多种学习模式,诸如网络自主学习任务布置、小组协作、课堂教师面授、师生/生生互动及多层面的监控与评估手段与方法等,旨在促进学生进行更有效的英语学习,提高英语语言运用能力,最终达到"减时增效"的目标。结合四川外国语大学大学英语听说教学改革的实践经验,本文对线上线下混合教学环境下的听说教学模式提出了一些建议与对策。 Blended learning, a combination of face-to-face and online instruction, is seen as one of the most important recent advances in education. While previous CALL studies have looked at various aspects of blended learning in foreign and second language classes, they have not allowed for a sufficient description of what actually happens in an environment of a blended learning class. In order to further advance the research in this area, a framework proposed by Neumeier was used to describe a technologyenhanced blended-learning model. The case study described here examined an intermediate ESL listening and speaking class in an intensive English program. The class used a commercially available learning management system(Blackboard), to combine face-to-face classroom learning and online learning in the computer lab and for homework(CALL mode). The main findings of the study indicate that all language skills can be successfully integrated into both modes. These results can inform the design and implementation of new blended learning models as well as the comparison with the existing models.
