摘要 智慧城市已经成为一种城市发展理念,受到各级政府、社会各界的高度重视。城市视频资源的链接是实现城市管理的数字化、网络化、服务化的关键。移动边缘计算(mobile edge computing,MEC)作为5G的核心技术之一,通过将计算存储能力与业务服务能力向网络边缘迁移,使应用、服务和内容可以实现本地化、近距离分布式部署,发展前景广阔。基于移动边缘计算的智慧城市视频网联服务平台,依托于边缘计算技术,在部署上引入了MEC分流网关及MEC平台,对移动网络重新构建,利用5G边缘计算能力,将视频计算、存储前置到边缘机房处理,改变了移动网络的经济形态。另一方面,平台不断促进不同视频资源承载网的互联互通,将带动整个采集、制作、播放内容的升级,提高视频的数据处理能力和服务能力,打开了智慧城市中一个广阔的边缘计算的应用场景。 Smart city has become a concept of urban development and are highly valued by governments at all levels and from all walks of life.The link of urban video resources is the key to realize the digitalization,networking and service of urban management.Mobile edge computing(MEC),as one of the core technologies of 5 G,enables applications,services,and content to be localized and distributed in close proximity,with broad development prospects by migrating computing storage capacity and business service capabilities to the edge of the network.Smart city video networking service platform based on mobile edge computing,depending on edge computing technology,which introduces MEC offload gateway and MEC platform in deployment.And the platform re-structures mobile network,which utilizes 5 G edge computing capability,processes computing storage capacity of video at the edge of the machine room and changes the economic shape of the mobile network.On the other hand,the platform continuously promotes the interconnection and intercommunication of different video resource bearer networks,which will drive the upgrade of the entire collection,production and playback content,improve the data processing capability and service capability of the video,and open a broad application scenes of edge computing in smart cities.
