介入都市:晚清上海青年会会所与现代生活研究

Intervention in the City:Shanghai Y.M.C.A and Modern Urban Life in the Late Qing Dynasty

19世纪末到20世纪初,基督教城市青年会在中国部分地区建立起来。为了吸引更多的知识青年参与其中,传达和贯彻青年会的理念与宗旨,城市青年会在城市中心选址建设了现代化的会所。这些城市青年会的会所在外部营造时尚、现代化的建筑形象,在内部设置了各种现代化的娱乐和活动设施,为城市知识分子提供了现代化的日常生活体验,进而重塑了城市知识分子对积极健康生活理念的认知。这篇文章希望通过叙述晚清社会转型时期,上海青年会会所对青年知识分子日常生活的介入来探讨上海青年会在知识青年日常生活观念转变当中所扮演的角色及其现实意义。

From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century,the Y.MC.A was established in some parts of China.In order to attract more young intellctuals to participate in it and to convey and implement the idea and purpose of the Youth Association,the Urban Youth.Association built several modern clubs in the city center,The clubs of these urban youth associations created fashionable and modern architectural images outside,and set up various modem entertainment and activity facilities inside,which provided modem daily life experience for urban inellectuals,and thus reshaped their understanding of the concept of daily healthy life.This report hopes to discuss the role and practical significance of the Shanghai Youth Association in the transformation of the concept of daily life of intellectuals in the late Qing Dynasty by describing the involvement of the Shanghai Youth Association in the urban daily life of young intellectuals during the social transfommation period.
