论湖南近代制伞业的产销及其特点

On the production and marketing of umbrella industry in modern Hunan and its characteristics

虽然湖南制伞业的兴起明显晚于江浙等地,但是发展较快。特别是民国时期,在传统益阳明油纸伞、湘潭石鼓镇纸伞继续发展的同时,还出现了欧美驰名、多次荣获嘉奖的长沙菲菲纸伞和油布伞。民国初期虽然因军阀混战湖南等地,制伞业受广伞庄、洋伞市场垄断,但还是有所发展。抗战爆发后,湖南制伞业在战乱受影响的同时,由于洋伞输入被中断,因而在国内生活需求的刺激下得以一定程度地发展。解放战争及建国初,益阳制伞业发展至顶峰,制伞业作为独立的手工行业一直延续到1956年公私合营。虽然在制作程序方面,中国制伞业基本相同,但是在纸伞长度、式样等方面,不仅湖南与江浙略有差异,而且湖南还存在着益阳纸伞式样美观,而湘潭纸伞虽然质量较好,但用户略嫌笨重等不同特征。

Although the rise of the.umbrella industry in Hunan is obviously later than Jiangsu's and Zhejiang's umbrella industry,but the development is faster,Especially in the Republic of China period,while the traditional paper umbrellas of Yiyang and Shigu continued to develop,there appeared the famous paper umbrellas of Changsha and Feifei,which won many awards.In the Early Period of the Republic of China,the umbrella industry in Hunan and other places was not only monopolized by the.foreign umbrella shops cupitals,but also the export of umbrella in Hunan was interrupted after the anti japanese war.During the war of liberation and in the early years of the People's Republic of China,the umbrella industry in Yiyang reached its peak,and as an independent handicraft industry,it continued to deyelop until jointly operated by the public and the private.sector,1956.Although the Chinese.umbrella-making industry is basically the sanne in termns of making procedures,not only are there some similarities and differences between Hunan and Zhejiang in terms of the length and pattern of paper umbrellas,but also there are some beautiful pattems of Yiyang Paper Umbrellas in Hunan Xiangtan paper umbrella,though of good quality,users are.slightly bulky and other features.
