This paper summarizes the characteristics and protocol stack of ATSC 3.0,and introduces closed captioning.According to the characteristics of SMPTE-TT closed caption data,SMPTE-TT data is extracted from ATSC 3.0.This paper describes the process of converting SMPTE-TT closed caption data into CEA-608/CEA-708 caption data,and defines the conversion method.Extract the commonness of caption data of different protocols,and define a basic mode for closed caption conversion of different protocol types.
