2018年首届曼谷艺术双年展的成功举办,使曼谷成为一个繁华的艺术和文化枢纽。2020年曼谷艺术双年展在2020年10月开幕,本届展会横跨整座城市,同时在10个地点举行,而展会地点是根据其文化和历史意义而做出的战略性选择,例如湄南河沿岸的庙宇和小径。在"逃离路线"的主题下,来自35个国家和地区的82位世界知名艺术家在文化消费的"新常态"下展示自己的作品。这些展览呈现超过200多件作品,大大提升了泰国艺术界的活力。《当代美术家》对话曼谷艺术双年展首席执行官兼艺术总监Dr.Apinan Poshyananda教授,就2020年曼谷艺术双年展相关话题进行探讨。

Thanks to the success of the first edition of Bangkok Art Biennale in 2018 Bangkok has been transformed into a buzzing hub for art and culture.Bangkok Art Biennale 2020 is held from 29 th October,2020—31 st January,2021,and the city-wide show is housed across ten venues and the locations are strategically chosen for their cultural and historical significance,such as temples and pathways along the Chao Phraya River.Presented within the context of a new normal for cultural consumption,82 world-renowned artists from 35 countries elevate and energize the Thai art scene with over 200 artworks,curated under the theme of Escape Routes.Contemporary Artists interviewed Prof.Dr.Apinan Poshyananda,Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Bangkok Art Biennale,discussing topics related to Bangkok Art Biennale 2020.
