出版渊源、话剧推介和女性主体意识:吴芝瑛与《黑奴吁天录》

林纾和魏易合译的《黑奴吁天录》在近代中国的翻译界和话剧界具有重要地位。通过考察《黑奴吁天录》早期出版的版本情况,认为吴芝瑛与文明书局出版关系密切。同时,吴芝瑛通过广告宣传以及让利销售等媒介传播,推介了“春阳社”《黑奴吁天录》话剧演出活动。文明书局印本和《黑奴吁天录》话剧成为唤醒国民警醒大众的统一体,吴芝瑛则体现出站在民族立场上的近代女性主体意识觉醒,具有民族主义的象征意义。

Hei Nu Yu Tian Lu co-translated by Lin Shu and Wei Yi from Uncle Tom's Cabin plays an important role in the translation and drama circles in modern China.By studying the early editions of Hei Nu Yu Tian Lu,it is believed that Wu Zhiying was closely related to the edition published by Wenming Book Company.Meanwhile,Wu Zhiying promoted the stage play of Hei Nu Yu Tian Lu by“Chunyang Society”through advertising and sales.Wenming Book Company's edition and its play became a unity of rousing the people and alerting the public,while Wu Zhiying embodied the awakening of feminine consciousness in modern times from the standpoint of nationality with the symbolic significance of nationalism.
