民国时期青浦规模最大的新式学堂——私立一隅小学

The Largest New Style School in Qingpu During the Period of the Republic of China—Private Yiyu Primary School

私立一隅小学由新式商人蔡一隅于1909年独资创办,是民国时期青浦规模最大的新式学堂。本文利用地方志、青浦老报纸及相关档案史料,考证了一隅小学的历史沿革,对其课程设置、课外活动及教学方法作了系统梳理,并揭示了陆逢鼎校长在动荡局势中为提高办学质量所做的卓越努力。

Private Yiyu primary school was founded in 1909 by Cai Yiyu,a modern businessman.It was the largest new style school in Qingpu during the period of the Republic of China.Based on local chronicles,old newspapers in Qingpu and relevant archives,this paper studies the historical evolution of Yiyu primary school,systematically combs its curriculum,extracurricular activities and teaching methods,and reveals the outstanding efforts made by President Lu Fengding to improve the quality of running the school in the turbulent situation.
