本文是周东壁为纪念其尊人、松江乡贤周大烈(迪前)所辑,含周大烈所撰自叙、施蛰存所撰诔文,诸师友所撰诗文挽联及高锌所撰跋语。正文前有整理者说明,略述先生学行著述及其子女将后来雨楼藏书捐归公藏事。
This essay is written by Mr.Zhou Dongbi in memory of his honorable father Zhou Dalie(also called Zhou Diqian),a celebrity in the former Tinglin Town Songjiang Prefecture.It includes Zhou Dalie’s self-narration,the eulogy written by Shi Zhecun,the poems and elegiac couplets by his mentors as well as the postscript by Gao Xin.Prior to the text,there is an illustration outlines the scholarship,character and works of Mr.Zhou Dalie and also the fact that his collection of books have been donated by his children.
