How Did Zhao Zukang Establish Relationship with the Underground CPC

1949年5月27日,上海解放,实现了新旧政权的和平交接。时任国民政府上海市"代理市长"赵祖康,向中国共产党新任上海市市长陈毅和平移交市政权力,在上海解放史上,写下浓墨重彩的篇章。在赵祖康出任上海市"代理市长"前,中共地下党组织即设法与他建立了联系,帮助他提高对中国共产党的思想认识,使他能在临危受命时,下定决心,担负起稳定上海大局,实现政权和平顺利交接的使命。笔者通过史料发掘、整理与分析,把中共地下党是如何与赵祖康建立联系并开展工作的这一历史过程梳理清楚,并作介绍。

Shanghai’s liberation on 27th May,1949 realized the peaceful handover of the new and old government and Zhao Zukang,the then acting Mayor of Shanghai transferred the municipal power peacefully to Chen Yi.the new Mayor of Shanghai,writing a glorious chapter in the history of Shanghai’s liberation.Before Zhao Zukang became the acting Mayor of Shanghai,the underground CPC had already managed to establish relationship with him to help him deepen the understanding of CPC.which enabled him to be determined at a critical moment to take up the mission of stabilizing the situation of Shanghai and realizing the smooth handover of the government.Through the excavation and analysis of the historical materials,the author sorts out and introduces how the underground CPC contacted Zhao Zukang and carried out the work.
